Pregnancy
Treatment of low-risk and high-risk pregnancies
The birth of a child is a unique and wonderful experience. That is why it is so important to be in the hands of first-class specialists who cover all stages of pregnancy. At UVOGYN we support you throughout the process so that you feel safe at all times, because we have extensive experience in the detection and treatment of risk situations.
Before pregnancy
It is important to face pregnancy in the best possible health. We make a preconception visit, where we carry out a detailed medical history and a complete gynaecological examination including ultrasound and analysis, in which relevant advice is given on how to face this new challenge.
During pregnancy
We do a personalised follow-up. At each visit we will assess the general state of the pregnancy and carry out specific tests throughout each trimester of pregnancy: blood tests, obstetric ultrasound, echocardiography and prenatal diagnostic tests and, if necessary, other complementary studies.
The moment of birth
We provide a personalised and close follow-up until delivery in order to assess each case. Our role is to facilitate the natural process of childbirth, although sometimes vaginal delivery is not possible and a caesarean section is necessary to preserve the health of both the mother and the baby.
After birth
Our team of obstetricians and midwives will offer you personalised support in postpartum care and breastfeeding, always considering the physical and psychological aspects for a perfect adaptation.
